Planning my wedding was one
of the hardest things I ever had to do. Prior to getting engaged I had no
idea the time, effort, and money that went into a ceremony and reception. To keep my future wife as happy as possible, everything from the dress, the location, the cake,
and the catering had to be exactly right. When she put me in charge of
taking care of the invitations, I knew I couldn't blow it. I drove around
to every stationery and paper store in town hoping to find the right invitations, but all I found were poorly-made,
mass-produced wedding stationery which would definitely not be acceptable for a memorable occasion like my
wedding.
With the days counting down,
I did a search online and found a small letterpress company who specialized in invitations and
stationery.They had a
lightning-fast turnaround time and were able to get the invitations to me in far less time than I thought possible
for a company with such intricate and high-quality work.I can't even tell you how pleased I was, not just that I had better invitations than
I could buy in any store, but that I was able to send such great work to my loved ones.I was extremely proud that I was getting married, and
the amazing craftsmanship of the invitations reflected that pride.
My fiancee initially gave me a hard time about the cost of the custom invitations, but she
quickly changed her tune.Realistically speaking, everything involved with a wedding is expensive.Nobody wants to risk ruining their special day by
attempting to take the cheap way out.Compared with most other items on a wedding budget, even the nicest invitations are barely a drop
in the bucket.Considering also
that many people will hear about the wedding for the first time from the invitation, it pays to make the best first
impression with the highest quality wedding stationery you can find.
